Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Mechanical Technician to join our team at Penn Life Sciences. As an Electrical Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, including pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems, including PLC/HMI control systems.
  • Perform instrument calibration to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations and Engineers team to prevent machine downtime and improve line output.
  • Document machine issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance as required.
  • Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, and other powered equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electronic, and electrical problems using technical drawings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technician role performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Technical competencies in PLC troubleshooting, electrical circuits, and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
