Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Orthopedic Clinic team at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide primary support to the provider by anticipating their needs and preparing patients for visits.
Maintain efficient patient flow and assist with treatments and procedures.
Perform procedures with completed and documented competency, within the organization's MA scope of work, PHS policy, and under the supervision of a provider.
Administer approved medications under the order and supervision of the provider.
Provide support for clerical functions, including scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations.
Maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment.
Provide in-basket support with the EMR.
Requirements:
Six months of MA experience or successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program from an accredited school required.
Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 90 days of hire.
High School Diploma or GED.
