Job Title: Medical Assistant

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the front office functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care duties under the Medical Assistant scope of practice in the urgent care setting.
  • Support front office functions, including patient registration, scheduling, and billing.
  • Monitor patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic experience.
  • Prepare charges, collect payment, and obtain necessary signatures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved Medical Assistant Training Program.
  • Certification is preferred but not required.
  • Successful completion of a medical assistant examination administered by a certifying organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.
