We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary support to healthcare providers by anticipating their needs and preparing patients for visits.
- Maintain efficient patient flow and assist providers with treatments and procedures.
- Administer approved medications under the order and supervision of a provider.
- Perform clerical functions, including scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Ensure a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment.
- Medical Assistant II: Six months of MA experience or successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program from an accredited school required.
- Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 90 days of hire.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- BLS Certification required at time of hire.
