Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the University of New Mexico. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient preparation and care, including vital sign collection and medical history documentation
  • Perform routine medical procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; MA accreditation or 2 years of experience preferred
  • CPR certification and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and rotate shifts as needed
