The Procurement Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and executing support functions related to procurement and inventory oversight.
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, combining both in-office and remote work options.
Key Responsibilities
• Address shipping and receiving discrepancies with suppliers, ensuring appropriate credits are processed.
• Assist in establishing safety stock thresholds, stock indicators, minimum order quantities, and other essential purchasing data.
• Generate and disseminate reports on purchasing and inventory management, including key performance metrics.
• Facilitate product transfers as necessary to prevent stock shortages and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Support buyers in the creation and upkeep of SKU items and kits.
• Maintain a comprehensive tracking sheet for imported product shipments, updating expected receipt dates and informing sales teams about product availability.
• Review supplier invoices and prepare payment requests for international vendors.
• Complete supplier credit applications as required.
• Manage supplier payment terms and Certificates of Insurance on the company’s document management system.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding missing shipment documentation and provide compliance information to logistics partners as needed.
• Assist with non-stock and warranty returns, as well as supplier credit issues.
• Contribute to additional projects as required.
Essential Qualifications
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Proficient data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on thoroughness.
• Capable of analyzing data effectively.
• Basic math skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with inventory management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
