We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Everstaff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement of goods and services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and establish long-term partnerships.
- Manage the entire procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain and production teams to ensure the availability of materials.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize procurement costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
