Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Program Coach to join our team at High Performance Academy in Madera Area. As a School Program Coach, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety, development, growth, and wellbeing of students. You will engage, demonstrate, and participate with students during sport enrichment activities, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure the safety, development, growth, and wellbeing of students.
  • Engage, demonstrate, and participate with students during sport enrichment activities, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Systematically plan and set up activities, drills, and scrimmages that provide growth opportunities for students to develop and enhance athletic and social-emotional skills.
  • Assist with the set up and break down of equipment for training sessions.
  • Attend monthly Professional Development Training Events to enhance professional learning and skills.
  • Support on-site team with all necessary responsibilities, including coaching, supervising, cleaning, and teaching.
  • Communicate feedback or areas of improvement to Program Coordinator and/or team leaders.
Requirements
  • Possession of a high school diploma, equivalent, or active enrollment in high school.
  • Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in the community.
  • Fun, energetic, patient, and attentive personality.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Prior experience working with students and/or children.
  • Sports background and experience preferred.
  • Physical ability to participate in sports activities such as running, jumping, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and/or proof of immunizations.
