As the After School/Extended Day Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and providing academic support and enrichment activities for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the after school and extended day programs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Plan and coordinate academic support and enrichment activities for students
  • Supervise instructional assistants, tutors, and work-experience students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a smooth transition between school and after school programs
Requirements
  • Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school
  • Hold 48 college units or NCLB compliant equivalent with at least fifteen (15) Early Childhood Education units preferred
  • Four years of experience working with school-age children in an organized setting, and some experience working with a diverse range of people
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency
