About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Community Manager to join our team at Stadium Estates I & II in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational and financial management of the property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all communications with residents regarding rent and past-due balances.
  • Collect rent and process payments.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and resident files.
  • Process move-out paperwork and security deposits.
  • Show and lease apartments to prospective residents.
  • Process and approve/deny rental applications.
  • Conduct new resident orientation and provide information on property rules and regulations.
  • Perform move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
  • Maintain a professional office atmosphere and inspect property regularly.
  • Manage the waiting list and obtain third-party verifications.
  • Hire and supervise site staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior relevant experience in affordable housing required.
  • Experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization, time management, conflict resolution, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of OneSite or similar management software.
  • Reliable transportation and valid NYS driver's license required.
  • Use of personal cell phone required (reimbursement included).
