Background

We provide program support services to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Special Intelligence (NS), Document and Media Exploitation Section (NSE). These program support services include:

  • Collection, analysis, and dissemination of investigative information
  • Coordination and implementation of administrative services and program requirements supporting NSE workflow and team operations, personnel management, and travel arrangements
Job Duties

As an Intelligence Analyst, you will:

  • Provide technical support to investigative personnel to obtain, review, and analyze source documents and statistical information
  • Make recommendations to the Government on the relevancy of investigative information as related to priority intelligence requirements
  • Organize and conduct detailed examinations of information gathered during complex criminal and civil investigations
  • Provide written results within formal and informal briefings to the Government
  • Participate in the development methodology to exploit investigative information
  • Report individual findings on an ongoing basis to lead personnel
  • Utilize financial analysis software to process and analyze financial records
  • Perform data entry from hard copy and soft copy documents into a large-scale data processing system
  • Resolve any problems and questions concerning data to be entered
  • Lead quality control review over software output and reconcile data with original documents
  • Report individual findings from the analysis of all investigative material
  • Occasional travel in support of DOMEX missions and/or law enforcement operations
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be fluent in Spanish
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree and three years of specialized experience involving collection, evaluation, analysis, production, and dissemination of investigative intelligence
  • Possess a working knowledge of current investigative techniques
  • Have an active Secret Clearance
