Job Title: Senior Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Arena Technical Resources, LLC. As a Senior Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging open-source and commercial software tools to review, assess, and collect data from various sources, including news publications, blogs, social media platforms, paste sites, government websites, forums, and onion sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data from various sources to identify investigative opportunities and intelligence to support investigative programs
  • Evaluate internet information from social media, chats, forums, darknet, TOR network, news feeds, internet relay chats, and other sources of data openly available on the internet
  • Perform a prioritized assessment of the data to identify the most critical and reliable data to identify, bitcoins, locations, accounts, services, travels, email addresses, IP addresses, and other pattern of life data to determine physical attribution of an internet identity
  • Create intelligence and investigative reports representing the steps taken, the data sources reviewed, and the conclusions drawn from the evaluation of the internet information
  • Experience in using cyber intelligence tools and software tools to actively search and mine the publicly available internet and the darknet/deep web
  • Advanced understanding of the methods used by criminals to hide themselves on the internet, how criminals conduct online business, and what are the various marketplaces and forums the cyber-criminals operate within
  • Experience in using technology solutions to actively search, analyze, and prioritize the various marketplaces and cyber-criminals to identify high-value targets for USPIS investigators
  • Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Must have a Top-Secret Clearance
  • Must have cryptocurrency tracing, investigation, and law enforcement experience
  • Experience in such visual tools as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and/or i2 Analyst Notebook
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be detail-oriented

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, cyber, or related discipline
  • 8+ years of related experience supporting intelligence operations pertaining to cybercrimes, cryptocurrency, open-source, and the dark web
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience in using cyber intelligence tools and software tools to actively search and mine the publicly available internet and the darknet/deep web
  • Understanding of the 'dark web' and underground cybercrime ecosystems and possess knowledge of navigating through cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Capable of using technology solutions to actively search, analyze, and prioritize the various marketplaces and cyber-criminals to identify high-value targets for the USPIS investigators
  • Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Must have a Top-Secret Clearance

Work Location:

Falls Church, VA (Hybrid)
Remote 2 days; 3 days in the office: Mandatory in office Monday, remote on Fridays. Work with management to identify the other 2 days to be in the office.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top-Secret Clearance Required.
