Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Back Office Automation Lead to join our team at West 4th Strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day back-office automation activities, including defining and coordinating automation strategy, design, development, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate a test strategy that addresses work breakdown structure, test architecture, schedule, deliverables, required resources, risk assessment, and quality control.
  • Coordinate with Government Test Managers and serve as a liaison between the Test Team, T&E Management, the Government Test Manager, the Product Manager, and Functional Area Management Teams.
  • Maintain situational awareness of issues that may impact the completion of assignments and ensure that T&E Management and Government Test Managers are kept informed.
  • Understand the architecture and configuration of test environments and test scenario conditions/parameters.
  • Provide overall frameworks for all tests to be performed for a test engagement and identify types of tests needed and objectives to be addressed.
  • Analyze documents, such as design, requirements, architecture, diagrams, and flowcharts, and train test analysts in development and execution of test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, and user stories.
  • Document and track test events in a test management tool for planning, execution, and reporting, and facilitate daily and weekly internal and external status meetings, trainings, and test strategy meetings.
  • Ensure the testing team is well-informed of ongoing testing activities and all MHS applications, and identify risks early in the project lifecycle.
  • Forecast for future test events, including scope, complexity, requirements analysis breakdown, projected hours, risks, issues, and assumptions, and provide support regarding application and environment risks, system architecture, software delivery processes, and scheduling impacts.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting, Scripting with R and Python, RPA, and Machine Learning.
  • Proficiency in Tableau software, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Experience in dashboard design, report creation, calculated fields, and data blending.
  • Experience in interpreting business needs and translating them into effective visualizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Robotic Process Automation using software such as UiPath.
Location and Clearance
  • Fall Church, VA.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
Client and Travel
  • Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Health Agency (DHA).
  • Travel may be required.
