Behavioral Health Professional Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Weber County Correctional Facility in Ogden, Utah.

Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and compassionate care to patients in a correctional environment. This role requires a licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, and provide mental health treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and offer consultation to in-house and community services.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
  • Perform risk assessments of inmates, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and develop discharge plans.
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Master's level program.
  • Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory background investigation report.
