Behavioral Health Professional Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Weber County Correctional Facility in Ogden, Utah.

Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and compassionate care to patients in a correctional environment. This role requires a Master's level clinician with a strong background in mental health treatment, assessment, and crisis management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis stabilization and complete intakes and ongoing evaluations
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment plans
  • Perform risk assessments and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including medical staff, community providers, and psychiatric hospitals
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as necessary
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Minimum one year of employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent
  • Satisfactory background investigation report
