Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Behavioral Health Unit at McKay-Dee Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of individualized plans of care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status, and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
