Behavioral Health Clinician

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Weber County Correctional Facility in Ogden, Utah.
Job SummaryThe Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and compassionate care to patients in a correctional environment. This role requires a licensed, masters-level clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, and provide mental health treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and ongoing evaluations, and offer consultation to in-house and community services.
- Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
- Perform risk assessments of inmates, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and develop discharge plans.
- Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
- Prepare documentation, records, and reports as necessary.
- Graduation from a masters-level program.
- Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
- Satisfactory background investigation report.
