Job Summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to support the implementation of new clients and facilities in our network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining layouts, ensuring facilities readiness actions are completed, tracking capital investments, and implementing CEVA's LEAN and Continuous Improvement Engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site setup, facility outfitting, layout execution, and process optimization activities in the fulfillment center.
  • Collaborate with Solution Design and local Operations & Facilities teams to define facility layouts and racking elevations changes.
  • Maintain AutoCAD layouts.
  • Implement CEVA standards related to LEAN, Continuous Improvement, Tier Boards, and KPIs.
  • Partner with the Operations team to propose process optimization projects to improve efficiency, safety, and quality, ensuring successful execution of projects.
  • Observe operations and ensure Work Instructions are adhered to and reflective of the actual process.
  • Partner with Project Management and Procurement to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered, tracked, delivered, and implemented on-time and on-budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, operations management, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 3 years of logistics and distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions.
  • 3PL or like experience preferred.
  • E-commerce and omni-channel fulfillment experience.
  • Six Sigma and LEAN certifications a plus.

Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of WMS functionality.
  • Experience in warehouse automation applications.

Characteristics

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated history of developing relationships and building trust.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
