Academic Hospitalist in Internal Medicine

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is offering an exceptional full-time opportunity for an Academic Internal Medicine Hospitalist. This role is designed for those who are passionate about education and patient care.
This position is primarily inpatient-based, with a structured schedule of one week on and one week off, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The ideal candidate will hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and demonstrate strong skills in teamwork, communication, and interpersonal relations.
Qualified applicants should possess a minimum of three years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, with a preference for those who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program. Candidates who can secure medical staff appointments and privileges, and who exhibit adaptability, creativity, and a passion for teaching and delivering quality patient care will be prioritized.
