Academic Hospitalist in Internal Medicine

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is offering a remarkable full-time opportunity for an Academic Internal Medicine Hospitalist. This role is designed for those who are passionate about teaching and providing high-quality patient care.
This position involves working within an inpatient Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. The schedule consists of alternating weeks, with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The ideal candidate will hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and will demonstrate exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, with a preference for those who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program. Candidates who can secure medical staff appointments and privileges will be given priority, especially those who exhibit adaptability, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and delivering quality patient care.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician to contribute to the GME program at MedChi.
