POSITION OVERVIEW

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is offering a remarkable full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Nocturnist to become part of our esteemed Hospitalist team.

The primary responsibilities for this role encompass the medical oversight of hospitalized patients, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for all inpatients, and providing essential instructions for follow-up care post-discharge.

The work schedule consists of night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a rotation of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, totaling 14 shifts per month. The average nightly patient admission ranges from seven to nine individuals. Notably, the ICU is not part of this role, and no procedural tasks will be required.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for an Internal Medicine Nocturnist to contribute to the high standards of care upheld by MedChi.
