MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Academic Internal Medicine Hospitalist to become a vital part of our esteemed medical education program.
This role is primarily focused on inpatient care within a Graduate Medical Education (GME) framework. The working schedule consists of alternating weeks, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.
The ideal candidate will hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and demonstrate exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, with a preference for those who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program. We value candidates who can secure medical staff appointments and privileges, and who exhibit adaptability, creativity, and a passion for teaching and delivering high-quality patient care.
This position presents an outstanding opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician to contribute to our GME program.
