Position Overview

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for operating x-ray equipment and conducting various mammography-related diagnostic procedures. This role requires a high level of precision in positioning and exposure techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Valid TX license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with digital and 3D mammography is required
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualified
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in mammography
  • Preferred: Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Preferred: Prior quality control experience
