Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Red Oaks Medical Group, Inc., you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs utilizing computed radiography. You will navigate our facilities' network-wide computer systems, including Image Information Systems PACS, EMR, One Point, and Report Vault. Your duties will include digitizing films, burning images to CDs, and printing images. You will also ensure that x-ray and mammography orders are properly inputted with an applicable assessment attached. Additionally, you will answer phones and respond to subpoenas.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate the x-ray equipment and critique all images to ensure they are of diagnostic quality.
2. Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
3. Perform basic tasks in PACS and have a basic knowledge of EMR.
4. Stock and clean the department, including scanning documents and putting in outside x-ray orders along with mammogram orders.
5. Practice radiation safety techniques and retrieve reports from Report Vault.
6. Digitize film and burn CDs.
7. Respond to subpoenas and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:
Must have a current California State license (C.R.T.) and an A.S. Degree in X-Ray Technology. Must also have a mammography certificate.
