Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Covenant Health. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex tasks associated with mammography and breast biopsy procedures. You will apply proper ionizing radiation and accurate positioning, compression, and processing techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine screening, diagnostic, and minimally invasive breast imaging procedures
  • Follow Joint Commission procedures regarding medication preparation and usage on patients for minimally invasive breast procedures
  • Obtain and document pertinent clinical information and technical findings for review by physicians
  • Follow established processes for supply charging, stock maintenance, and vendor ordering
  • Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of an Accredited Breast Center and related equipment to produce high-quality breast imaging
Requirements
  • Registered ARRT (R) certification
  • Within 6 months, ARRT (M) certification
  • State licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines
