Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting with quality control procedures and documenting phantom images, repeat analyses, and calibration tests.
  • Providing immobilization devices, selecting proper technical factors, and operating equipment for specific procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, parents, and caregivers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to institutional policies and protocols.

Requirements include:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Diagnostic Radiography License.
  • Registered Technologist in Radiology and Mammography.
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
