**Job Overview:** Trelleborg Group is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer Specialist to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with one of the leading contract manufacturers in the world and work on life-saving medical devices.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a manufacturing solution is delivered regarding tooling needs for current production or new products. You will work closely with Estimating, Tool Design, and Engineering teams to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. Estimated 7 years of experience in tool design, construction, troubleshooting, and repair of molds and related tooling is required. Experience estimating mold design requirements and construction costs by analyzing customer drawings and 3D models is also necessary.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Estimating/Sales for quoting new programs.
  • Act as Tooling contact for Automation and NPD Engineering teams by monitoring and providing regular updates on project status.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering in understanding, and finding solutions for, tooling-related production needs.
  • Assist Toolmakers in troubleshooting problems with individual tools and determining timely, effective action plans for repairs or modifications.

**Salary:** $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
