We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer Manager to join our team in Plymouth, MN. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership and project management for our large caliber ammunition co-production programs.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing manufacturing and process engineering technical expertise, as well as project management, for our LCA co-production programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production processes, manage projects, and support up to 40% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and project management for LCA co-production programs
  • Develop and oversee production processes for production at Plymouth, other Northrop Grumman locations, and subcontractors
  • Manage manufacturing engineering project management and leadership
  • Support and/or lead failure investigations, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation
  • Communicate issues and status frequently and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Engineering oversight and interpretation of acceptance and qualification testing results of ammunition materials and components

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience, or a PhD plus 0 years of experience. You should also have experience working with customer engineering, vendors, and subcontractors, as well as proven partnership/collaboration skills and exceptional communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $160,000 per year
