Job Overview

The Director of Channel Growth and Development will lead their team to develop and execute a comprehensive commercial plan for Coca-Cola Consolidated's Food Service On Premise (FSOP) and Convenience Retail (CR - Small Store) channels. This role will be responsible for leading new product launches, promotional programs, and big pillar events, as well as developing point-of-sale materials and managing the department's profit and loss budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with brand parent companies to identify and influence strategies for growth, communicate those plans to the entire organization, ensure execution, and track results.
  • Develop and communicate commercialization plans, including annual business plans, monthly marketing initiatives, and individual initiative sales and operating plans.
  • Partner with Market Unit General Managers and Senior Retail Directors in the field, Customer Team VPs and Senior Directors to influence and align on Commercial plans, execution strategies, and plans to accelerate growth and profits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionality with Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Equipment Services, and other functions to align on Commercial strategies and ensure all processes are in place for execution.
  • Manage the department's P&L to ensure adherence to department budget, goals, and full-year targets.
  • Perform other initiatives and assignments as directed by the Sr Director Channel Commercialization.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience leading a team.
  • 7+ years of experience managing a P&L.
  • 7+ years of experience leading in the Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods industry, and managing the creation and execution of Commercial strategies.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of graphics software preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, train, and develop a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic initiatives and build plans for execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage and lead multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence senior executives.
  • Proven experience effectively working directly with field sales and customer teams.
  • Prior experience coaching, teaching, and training teams.
  • Must be detail-oriented and show the ability to manage multiple projects effectively while leading and developing their team.
