Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Registered Nurse S2 8 hours add on. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate nursing services, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching, providing education and support to promote healthy behaviors and disease management.
  • Work cooperatively with the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice and ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and standards of care.
  • Initiate and coordinate patient teaching, utilizing a patient-centered approach to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Delegate responsibilities to other caregivers, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • MA RN License.
  • BLS and/or ACLS required.
  • Additional certification required where applicable.
