Project Manager Job Description

DBI Projects is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our capital projects across all stages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-development to closeout, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and risk management.
  • Monitor project progress, tracking schedules and optimizing sequencing to meet approved timelines and budgets.
  • Control project budgets, identifying potential challenges and changes, and producing complete requisitions for clients and lenders.
  • Produce and oversee production of key project documents, including schedules, budgets, phasing, drawings, contracts, and leases.
  • Manage high-level client interactions, day-to-day client expectations, and lead complex client meetings.
  • Review design drawings, understand scope, and produce written narratives documenting scope.
  • Understand affordability analysis and pro formas, review funding opportunities, and provide support to clients in finance closing.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, engineering, architecture, or related practices.
  • Direct involvement in site supervision, construction administration, coordinating between A/E teams and contractors, schedule and budget management, and managing small teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling programs.
