Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Environmental Attorney to enhance our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in environmental legislation, particularly concerning contaminated properties.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Environmental Attorney, your primary duties will encompass:

  • Delivering specialized legal guidance on a variety of environmental issues, with an emphasis on contaminated properties.
  • Representing the organization in both administrative and judicial settings regarding environmental matters.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and drafting essential legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements.
  • Providing counsel on adherence to federal, state, and local environmental statutes and regulations.
  • Negotiating and formulating settlements and agreements pertinent to environmental concerns.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Environmental Attorney role will meet the following criteria:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental law, particularly with contaminated properties.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar association.
  • Demonstrated understanding of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record in administrative and judicial proceedings related to environmental issues.
