Northern Kentucky University (NKU) is seeking a part-time Art Figure Model for its Drawing and Painting courses in the School of the Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for posing as a nude figure model for student artists learning to draw or paint from life.
Responsibilities:- Pose as a nude figure model for three-hour class sessions
- Hold poses for 30 seconds to 30 minutes
- Be comfortable posing nude and able to work with instructors
- Record hours for each working session
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to assume and hold a body position for assigned periods of time
- Ability to follow instructions and deal tactfully with students, faculty, and administration
- Previous modeling experience
- Experience with yoga, dance, and/or sports
- Familiarity with the arts
Applicants should include the contact information for three references and an optional resume and cover letter. The successful candidate will be required to work in an interior closed-door classroom environment.
