ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER - SMOOTHIE KING

The Assistant General Manager at Smoothie King plays a crucial role in the success of our operations by collaborating with the General Manager to lead a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience while adhering to brand standards. This position is integral to fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the General Manager in guiding and developing the team through effective communication, recognition, and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure a superior guest experience by motivating the team to exceed service expectations.
  • Maintain high-quality product standards while complying with company food safety protocols.
  • Analyze sales performance and share strategies to optimize key performance indicators for achieving daily objectives.
  • Assist in community marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and local engagement.
  • Ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for both team members and guests by utilizing company tools and checklists.
  • Foster positive communication with team members and guests, effectively resolving challenges to maintain a harmonious atmosphere.
  • Implement company initiatives and inspire the team to meet operational standards set by Smoothie King.
  • Oversee cash handling processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Drive profitability while cultivating a fun and welcoming workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of guest service experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including 40 hours per week with potential opening, closing, and weekend shifts.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to navigate a walk-in refrigerator or freezer with varying temperatures.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a high level of professionalism with excellent communication abilities.

COMPENSATION: Starting hourly rate at $18.00.
