About the Role

We are looking for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Washington to work directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of Geri Psych Experience and 1 year of providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Assess patient's mental status based on symptoms and diagnose DSM-V disorders.
  • Develop treatment plans and apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues.
  • Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
  • Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
  • Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).

Pay

  • $63.00 to $88.00 per Billable Hour, W2 and Independent Contractor options available.
  • Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience, and licensure.
