Salary: $33.85 per hour (estimated annual salary: $70,438)

The Community House Mental Health Agency is seeking a skilled and compassionate Day Treatment Specialist to join our team in Seattle and King County. As a key member of our clinical day treatment program, you will play a vital role in providing supportive care and community-driven services that promote recovery and wellness for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic groups, activities, and outings designed to enhance socialization, adaptive coping skills, and overall well-being. Your expertise in crisis intervention and resolution, medication distribution, and daily clinical documentation will be invaluable in ensuring the success of our program.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and close Day Treatment Program on daily basis
  • Complete daily clinical documentation according to company and state guidelines
  • Assist members in preparing and serving lunch
  • Monitor pre-vocational program and pay members in accordance with agency policy
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups
  • Provide opportunities for socialization and development of social skills for clients
  • Create and facilitate activities and groups that assist clients in development of adaptive coping skills
  • Assist with weekly food bank
  • Order food and office supplies per agency budget
  • Coordinate with food delivery programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate group activities and outings
  • Coordinate use of laundry and shower facilities
  • Coordinate HopeLink rides and approvals
  • Balance house job money
  • Attend weekly clinical and administrative meetings
  • Ensure that food bank room is kept clean and organized
  • Fulfills WAC training requirements on an annual basis
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and resolution as needed
  • Visually supervise medication distribution when necessary
  • Promotes a safe, calm and secure environment with supportive care and community driven services that promote recovery and wellness
  • Demonstrates respect for consumer rights and maintains confidentiality per Agency policy
  • Demonstrates a commitment to cultural competence
  • Maintains records in accordance with Agency, County and State guidelines
  • Maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
