Veterinary Technician, Emergency

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Triage incoming patients and prioritize their care
- Monitor critical and fractious patients, administering treatments and medications as needed
- Assist with diagnostic tests and emergency procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and document patient care
- Engage in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role
- CA RVT license preferred but not required
