Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Service Manager to join our team at Atlantic Aviation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of ground handling services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of Line Service workers to ensure that all ground handling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Line Service department, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are followed, and that the department is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to Line Service workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of Line Service workers, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of fuel, oil, and other supplies, ensuring that they are properly stored and maintained.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and that any issues are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that all ground handling activities are carried out to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in line service or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals.
  • Certifications: Valid state driver's license and meet the company's insurability requirements. Meet Atlantic Aviation's operations and safety training requirements.
