Key Responsibilities
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily operations of the technical support desk.
- Providing guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Training staff on help desk systems and procedures to ensure effective problem documentation and resolution.
- Addressing support requests and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Delivering tiered support to users across various locations.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware and software.
- Installing and configuring PC and MAC hardware, as well as peripheral devices.
- Managing telecommunication systems and ensuring optimal performance.
- Facilitating new user onboarding processes, including hardware setup and account management.
- Ensuring all devices are updated with the latest security measures.
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of end-user devices.
- Documenting and managing support requests within the help desk system.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Office 365.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and voice over IP technologies.
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
