Position Overview

As a vital member of the Surgical Care Unit at Health Central Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will:

Documentation and Compliance

The RN will ensure that all patient care documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and adheres to regulatory standards. This includes:
  • Maintaining detailed records of patient assessments, educational interactions, medication administration, and treatment plans.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in nursing skills and the use of medical equipment specific to the unit.
  • Prioritizing patient care in alignment with evidence-based practices.
  • Identifying and resolving problems effectively within the care environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A valid RN license in the state of Florida or a multistate RN license.
  • Current BLS certification, with additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC) as required for specific units.
