Orthopedic Spine Registered Nurse

As a vital member of the healthcare team at Health Central Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care in the Orthopedic Spine Unit. This role involves administering care to patients undergoing treatment for various orthopedic conditions, ensuring their comfort and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and create personalized care plans that adapt to their evolving conditions.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to care strategies.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment by building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Serve in various capacities, including preceptor, charge nurse, and unit educator, to support team development.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care.
- Delegate tasks to team members based on patient needs and staff qualifications, ensuring efficient care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the improvement of nursing practices within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida or a valid multistate RN license.
- Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on unit needs.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
