Key Responsibilities- Provide critical care to patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing advanced assessment and therapeutic skills.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting electronic displays and recording vital signs.
- Respond to life-saving situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient-focused action and evidence-based practice.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and manage unit operations.
- Collaborate with education department and nursing leadership to support new team members and students, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications required for certain areas.
- Cath Lab experience preferred, but ICU experience will be considered.
