  • Greater New York, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey (residency required)
  • Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico (residency required)

ROLE PURPOSE

The Territory Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting Definiti's retirement plan services within the designated territory. This includes establishing new relationships with financial advisors who will market Definiti's retirement solutions, such as traditional Defined Contribution/Defined Benefit administration, pension outsourcing, and comprehensive retirement consulting services. The ideal candidate will reside within the assigned territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Promote Definiti's retirement solutions within the assigned region.
  • Build and nurture relationships with financial advisors to drive proposals and sales.
  • Achieve sales targets by identifying and engaging new clients.
  • Maintain a network of advisors, consultants, and other professionals focused on retirement services.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with plan sponsors through direct engagement.
  • Manage budgets related to travel, entertainment, and partnerships as necessary.
  • Oversee a targeted territory of key relationships.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify challenges, successes, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to devise and implement growth strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in TPA or recordkeeping sales with a proven track record in retirement services.
  • Familiarity with retirement services, including distribution models and key competitors.
  • Strong understanding of retirement plan services and recordkeeping.
  • Proven experience in developing financial advisor relationships.
  • Preferred retirement-specific credentials such as QKA, CPFA, CPFC, CLU, or ChFC, or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
  • Solid knowledge of retirement plan services, sales operations, and implementation.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% within the assigned region.
