Job Title: Caregiver/Direct Support Staff

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Staff to join our team at Dumolin Service Corporation.

Job Summary:

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with our clients to ensure they receive the highest quality of care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as prescribed in their individual service plan.
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by the Nurse.
  • Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions as directed by the Dietitian.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
  • Work with clients performing assigned recreational activities.
  • Assist with household chores and maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • 1 year previous experience in caregiving or direct support required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
