We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Staff to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with our clients to ensure they receive the highest quality of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by the Nurse
  • Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions as directed by the Dietitian
  • Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
  • Work with clients performing assigned recreational activities
  • Assist with household chores and maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Requirements:
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • 1 year previous experience in caregiving or direct support required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
