Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to provide assistance and strategies to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will work alongside a dedicated team of clinical staff and supportive supervisors to help individuals live well in their community and environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or complex needs.
  • Document and report on individual progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with at least one year of experience and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and support.
