Support Caregivers/Direct Support Staff

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Staff to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with our clients to ensure they receive the highest quality of care and support. As a Caregiver/Direct Support Staff, you will have the fulfilling responsibility of accompanying our residents throughout the day and on weekends, supporting them as they attend Day Programs, Work Programs, and visit family and friends.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, (ADLs) as prescribed in their individual service plan including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by the Nurse
  • Plan and prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions as directed by the Dietitian
  • Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
  • Work with clients performing assigned recreational activities
  • Assist with household chores and maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
