Key Responsibilities:- Direct the operations team to ensure efficient processes for receiving, inventory, repacking, storage, and distribution of food bank products.
- Provide oversight of facility maintenance and upkeep, including necessary modifications for safety, efficiency, and proper function.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, including governmental, Feeding America, and AIB food safety and sanitation standards.
- Oversee the management of logistics and warehouse equipment, including maintenance and replacement schedules.
- Develop and maintain relationships with retail pickup program participants, transportation and manufacturing companies, and other stakeholders.
- Establish and manage transportation activities, including delivery schedules and routes, mobile food pantry distributions, and distribution center to distribution center deliveries.
- Serve as an active member of the food safety committee and participate in budget development and financial management.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience in organizational and systems management.
- Desirable experience in warehouse management, logistics, and customer service.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
