About the Role:
Avera is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) III to join our multidisciplinary team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our surgical care team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients preoperatively, perioperatively, and postoperatively, working closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform circulating and/or scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room
- Provide nursing care to patients in support of care directed by the surgeon
- Assist the surgical team as needed
- Act in any nursing capacity as directed by the Operating Room Director and Coordinator
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Associate's degree at minimum
- Current licensure with the State of SD as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 72 hours every 2 weeks, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts
