Building Support and Clerical Assistant

Job Title: Bilingual Building Clerk
Estimated Salary: $16.25/hourlyWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Bilingual Building Clerk at Surge Staffing. This position involves providing administrative support, managing office procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling for building needs, adhering to OCFS ratios.
- Respond to employee notifications for unplanned absences and facilitate scheduling adjustments.
- Supervise children during classroom staff breaks and absences.
- Organize office procedures, including filing, record-keeping, and supply management.
- Prepare and distribute various documents, such as statistical reports and program manuals.
- Maintain accurate staff lists, mailboxes, and sign-in/out sheets.
- Manage incoming mail, faxes, and phone calls, and disseminate messages promptly.
- Support staff training and volunteer orientation, focusing on office equipment usage.
- Process purchase orders, receiving reports, and assist with supply ordering.
- Participate in conducting emergency drills, maintain updated records, and submit to Quality Assurance Monitor and Center Director.
- Comply with current security restrictions and maintain documentation at the front desk.
- Monitor early education classroom TLO Reports and submit to Center Director.
- Contribute to service enrollment and recruitment strategies.
- Administer medication as needed to children.
- Promote agency mission and values.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the code of ethics.
- Demonstrate consistent professional customer service.
- Integrate service delivery models while promoting self-sufficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
